Management Fee Growth Drivers
Management fees increased 13% year-over-year to $1,017.6 million, with 94% from perpetual capital or long-dated funds, driven by fundraising in publicly-traded and perpetual wealth funds and capital deployment in private direct lending and alternative credit strategies.
Carried Interest Allocation Decline
Carried interest allocation fell 23% to $249.9 million, primarily due to unrealized reversals in the Secondaries Group (notably LREF VIII) and Other Businesses (Kodiak AI investment), as well as lower realizations from Credit funds compared to the prior year period.
AUM Growth and Embedded Fee Potential
Total AUM reached $671.3 billion, up from $644.3 billion at March 31, 2026, after $22.2 billion in new commitments and $4.4 billion in market-based appreciation. AUM not yet paying fees of $96.7 billion could generate approximately $828.2 million in potential incremental annual management fees, a 24% embedded growth rate.
