Key risk: Rising Debt and Interest Burden
Total debt reached $9.0 billion at quarter-end, and net interest expense jumped to $103 million in Q2, up from $55 million a year ago. The higher leverage, largely from acquisition financing, increases vulnerability to earnings pressure if rates remain elevated or operating performance weakens.
